From a young age, my fascination with nature’s inner workings and my deep-seated care for all living beings led me into the field of nature conservation. Fast forward a few years – life took me on an incredible journey; married and three wonderful kids.
In my 30s, I encountered unexpected health hurdles. Digestive issues, thyroid concerns, and the looming risk of type 2 diabetes turned my world upside down. Despite my dedication to healthy living, I found myself grappling with these issues alongside worries about my youngest daughter’s health. It was a bewildering time because I had always been focused on healthy eating and following guidelines for longevity and optimal nourishment.
Doctors were helpful and offered solutions, but I yearned for answers that didn’t involve relying solely on medications for my daughter and myself. Like many of us, I had to face these uncertainties and moments of anxiety coupled with confusion about our health. Clichés like “it’s just part of getting older,” was simply not acceptable to me.
Driven by a desire to understand, I immersed myself in everything concerning diseases and nutrition. It was a deep dive into a sea of conflicting information. This sparked my decision to become a Health Coach through PreKure. I gained invaluable insights which equipped me with the tools to support people from all walks of life, backed by solid science on nutrition and aging. I then pursued further studies as a Nutrition and Metabolic Coach, discovering endless possibilities for improving health and well-being through nutrition. How exciting is this!
Currently, I’m working towards my Menopause Coaching Certificate. I’m excited about the opportunity to empower women during this transformative phase of life, helping them realize their strength, full potential and embrace wellness during and beyond menopause.
